For advanced applications, the highly integrated VINETIC™-SVIP provides CODEC, VoIP DSP and linecard controller functionality for high-density VoIP linecards and IP-PBX, as well as small Business Gateways and MDU designs. The VINETIC™-SVIP family includes pin- and software-compatible 4-, 8- and 16-channel CODEC/SLIC™ + DSP ICs based on a common architecture. This shared architecture enables system designers to minimize development time and reduce bill of materials for products that are seamlessly scalable and upgradable at minimal cost.
Features of the VINETIC-SVIP family include integrated VoIP DSP with the processing power to support all common Coders (G.711, G.729A/B, G.723.1, G.726, G.722 and AMR) simultaneously. A slim digital SLIC™ interface (3 pins for 2 channels) simplifies the circuit board layout while optimizing component density. The product family fully supports wideband voice (16 kHz sampling and wideband analog filters), is 100% compatible with legacy POTS equipment and services, and offers advanced integrated line testing with test head (MELT) accuracy.
