The VINETIC™-xT family is the most recent addition to Lantiq´s mature and field-proven Voice product line. The family of pin- and software-compatible devices addresses next-generation high-density Voice linecards and PBX systems, as well as small MDU and SFU designs, using a common 4-, 8- and 16-channel CODEC/SLIC™ architecture. This shared architecture enables system designers to minimize development time and reduce bill of materials for products that are seamlessly scalable and upgradable at minimal cost.
The VINETIC-xT family has a slim digital SLIC™ interface (3 pins for 2 channels) that simplifies the circuit board layout while optimizing component density. It supports wideband voice (16 kHz sampling and wideband analog filters), is 100% compatible with legacy POTS equipment and services, and offers advanced integrated line testing with test head (MELT) accuracy.
