Christian Wolff - CEO

Lantiq Chief Executive Officer

Christian is the Chief Executive Officer of Lantiq, responsible for the company’s overall strategy, vision, and technology. Before accepting this position in November 2009, Christian was Division President Wireline Communications within Infineon Technologies AG in Munich, the operating group from which Lantiq was formed. At Infineon, Christian held various General Manager positions in the Communications Group over the past 15 years. Of particular note, he managed the successful transition of his group’s work into today’s rich broadband market space. Prior to Siemens Semiconductor becoming Infineon, Christian was the General Manager of the Communications ICs Business Unit for Siemens. He was also active in the R&D environment in wireline and wireless applications early in his career.

Christian holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.

Dr. Klaus Gohlke - CFO

Lantiq Chief Financial Officer

Klaus is the Chief Financial Officer of Lantiq, responsible for the company’s financial plans and goals as well as operations. From October 2008 until Lantiq was formed in November 2009, he served as CFO for the Wireline Communication Division of Infineon Technologies AG in Munich, the operating group from which Lantiq was formed. Prior to these positions, he was the Managing Director and CFO for Infineon Technologies North America for more than two years and Vice President and CFO for Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific in Singapore for six years. Earlier in his career, Klaus was Director of Affiliated Companies & Ventures Administration at Infineon Technologies Holding B.V. in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Klaus holds a Master's Degree and a Ph.D. in Economics and Social Sciences, both from Friedrich-Alexander-University in Nuremberg, Germany.

Dr.-Ing. Martin Schenk – CTO

Lantiq Chief Technical Officer

Martin is the Chief Technology Officer of Lantiq, responsible for the company’s technology and business development activities. He has more than 17 years of technical and managerial experience in the communications and semiconductor industries and was most recently the Vice President and General Manager for the Carrier Access Product Line at Infineon Technologies AG. Prior to joining Infineon in 2005, Martin held a number of positions at Centillium Communications, Ishoni Networks and Siemens Microelectronics in the Silicon Valley, CA. He started his career at the Institute for Integrated Circuits in Munich, where he established and managed a research group for broadband access focusing on DSL, home networking and broadband wireless.

Dr. Martin Schenk holds a Dr.-Ing. and a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Technical University of Munich.

Ulrich Hüwels – SVP & GM of Business Unit CPE

Lantiq Senior Vice President and General Manager of CPE

Ulrich is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) Business Unit for Lantiq, a position he also held within the Wireline Communication Division at Infineon Technologies AG, the operating group from which Lantiq was formed. Prior to becoming a General Manager, Ulrich held various positions in R&D management, in both the Communication and Storage Businesses for Infineon Technologies and Siemens Semiconductor before it became Infineon. Ulrich gained international experience in the Silicon Valley/CA from 1998 to 2003 as Vice President of Engineering of Infineon’s Storage Division. Ulrich started his professional career as a design engineer for communication chips in 1990 at Siemens Semiconductor.

Ulrich holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University in Aachen, Germany.

Guenther Stang – General Counsel

Lantiq General Counsel

Guenther is the General Counsel of Lantiq, heading the Legal & Patents Department with responsibility for Lantiq’s legal affairs on a worldwide basis. Before accepting this position in November 2009, he was Vice President and Head of the IP Transaction & Litigation Group in the corporate legal department at Infineon Technologies AG in Munich. Prior to joining Infineon in 1999, he held a number of positions as in-house counsel within the Siemens corporate legal department in Erlangen and Munich.

Guenther's professional career spans more than 20 years of broad legal experience, including litigations and global transactions, and he has spent more than 15 years working the semiconductor industry.

Joachim Feldmann – Senior Vice President R&D

Joachim is the Senior Vice President of Research & Development for Lantiq, responsible for overall R&D management with a focus on chip and firmware development. In his 27 years in the semiconductor industry, Joachim held various engineering and  management positions at Siemens Semiconductor and Infineon, including product development, project, program, and R&D management in the area of communication solutions. Before accepting his current position with Lantiq in November 2009, Joachim spent eight years as the Vice President of R&D for Wireline Communications at Infineon Technologies AG in Munich, the operating group from which Lantiq was formed.

Joachim holds a Diplom Ingenieur (FH) in EE / Communications Engineering from FH/UAS Muenster Campus Steinfurt.

Hubert Christl – Senior Vice President & General Manager, Access Networks Business Unit

Lantiq Senior Vice President & General Manager,  Access Networks Business Unit

Hubert is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Access Networks Business Unit for Lantiq, responsible for broadband access, voice and VoIP solutions, as well as core access including mobile backhauling. Prior to this position, he was the Vice President and General Manager responsible for the Voice Infrastructure Business Line at Infineon Technologies AG. Hubert held a number of general management positions at Infineon and Siemens Semiconductors, including 7 years of P+L responsibility for digital cordless, local area wireless, wireless control and GPS. Under his leadership, Infineon achieved market leadership in digital cordless and wireless control. Hubert also served as Senior Director for program management functions in wireless and wireline communications. Prior to that, he was the Director of Marketing for mobile communication ICs for cellular handsets, cordless applications and high frequency ICs, setting the company's foundation for fast growth in the wireless market. Previously he held marketing and management positions at Siemens Semiconductors.

Hubert has more than 23 years of semiconductor industry experience and holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich.

Imran Hajimusa – President, Lantiq North America, GM Business Line Home Networking

President, Lantiq North America, GM Business Line Home Networking

Imran is the President of Lantiq North America and General Manager of the company’s Home Networking Business Line. Before accepting this position, Imran led the North American operations of Infineon Technology’s Wireline Division as Vice President. He has more than 18 years of global engineering and management experience in the semiconductor industry. After completing his Masters degree in computer engineering in the USA, he started his career as an ASIC Designer at Siemens in Singapore where he also led Image & Video product management targeted at the Chinese market. Later he moved to Munich and held several positions leading up to Director of R&D at Infineon in Germany. After returning to the USA in 2001, he led Infineon’s Wireline Division business for North America as well as numerous worldwide responsibilities. He served for three years as elected technical chair under the umbrella of EACEM in Europe and currently sits on the Board of HomeGrid Forum as a Director and Vice President.

Imran earned his BSEE and an MSCE from the University of Southern California and has completed the Global Management Program from Babson College Massachusetts.
