Making High-Speed Access Flexible
End-to-End Optical Fiber services often require service providers to make costly investments in new optical infrastructure, especially at the last drop of fiber to the subscriber's home. Lantiq's unique Flexible High-Speed Access architecture allow service providers to combine the benefits of existing copper infrastructure for the last drop with the high-performance of optical backhaul technology, providing a cost-effective alternative to purely-optical access solutions. Lantiq's Flexible High-Speed Access platform combines an optical GPON backhaul either highly integrated VDSL2 solutions operating over twisted pair or high performance G.hn solutions for twisted pair or coaxial cable.

Ethernet over Coax (EoC)
Lantiq's solutions allow for distribution of high speed broadband over existing shared coaxial cable topology at maximum (shared) data rates of up to 1 Gbps.
Ethernet over Twisted Pair
If twisted pair is your medium of choice, then select this for distribution of high speed broadband at maximum data rates of 100 Mbps for VDSL2 (up and down) and 500 Mbps per subscriber with G.hn.
