The Lantiq™ XWAY™ GRX300/GRX330 device families introduce Lantiq AnyWAN™ technology, allowing complete re-use of system and software architecture regardless of the WAN interface used. The different WAN interfaces pre-integrated into the software packages are implemented by plugging the appropriate companion chipsets into the GRX300/GRX330 devices. AnyWAN™ now supports these WAN interfaces:
- Fast- / Gigabit-Ethernet

Further the AnyWAN™ concept allows to flexibly select the user interfaces in a modular manner:
- WiFi 802.11n for 2.4GHz, 5GHz, 802.11ac
- Voice (FXS, FXO), VoIP
- DECT / CAT-iq
- Gigabit-Ethernet / Fast Ethernet
- DECT ULE and other Home Networking Technologies
The framework to allow such a modular approach is Lantiq's Universal Gateway Software (UGW).
