With more than a decade of leadership in xDSL chipset innovation and system implementation, Lantiq has accumulated vast experience in test and qualification of access network solutions. From the CO to CPE, our xDSL InterOperability Labs are equipped to support rigorous and comprehensive device and system level test suites.
As an active participant in Broadband Forum and ITU-T standardization, Lantiq has helped pioneer the access network state-of-the-art, contributing to DSM/Vectoring, retransmission techniques and key performance and functional test definition. This expertise is complemented with extensive on-line network assets, including hundreds of CPE devices and fully-populated DSLAMs. The Lantiq lab network includes facilities in Munich, Bangalore and Taipei, each with the skills and resources to execute comprehensive evaluations based on ITU-T standard and operator-specific test suites. More than 100 test stations are available for loop simulation under variable noise, traffic and spectral conditions. Supported test scenarios include: Electrical Compatibility, Performance, Data Transfer, Functional Testing, Stability, Field Like Testing (FLT), and more.
The Lantiq Digital Home InterOp Labs host 95 operating DSLAMS with hundreds of line cards supporting globally deployed ADSL and VDSL standards and band plans that can be tested against Lantiq’s CPE system solutions. Automated test procedures and a shared results database across our locations creates a huge pool of comparative data, backed by automated and human analysis to capture the knowledge needed to resolve any issues that may be identified.
